About Valley Sod Farms
Valley Sod Farms is your go-to guys for grass and grass-alternatives. We offer turf varieties and groundcover alternatives that conserve water, qualify for rebates, and keep Las Vegas green and cool(er) year-round.
Ground covers are an expanding variety of grass-alternatives that provide the same benefits of grass but use less than half the water. Ask us about Kurapia, Clover, Dichondra, or a variety of other ways we can help beautify your yard and provide a safe, green, cool, and drought-tolerant place for your family and pets to enjoy.
We are powered by solar energy, utilize degradable netting with ECOCycle technology, and use organic fertilizers as part of our program to ensure you have the best quality products available.

The entire team was wonderful from start to finish! I just had Valley Sod Farms deliver new grass for our backyard! They delivered beautiful green healthy grass that our family will enjoy now and for many years to come. It is so fresh and vibrant! Thank you for the fantastic result and service!

The Sales and Service Manager, from Valley Sod, has been so very helpful after our grass replacement last fall. We had Kurapia sod installed in our Paradise Palms home and I had sooo many questions. We already had a landscaper we were working with but if you need it, Valley Sod can offer or help arrange installation. When they say they stand behind their product (their main business is growing and selling the plants) they mean it! The Sales and Service Manager actually came in person to check our new yard and has been invaluable by text since. I try not to bother him too much but he’s never made me feel like he’s inconvenienced! That level of support has really stood out and I would highly recommend working with them. As far as the Kurapia, it’s an amazing product. Needs very little water, pet friendly and soft to walk on. After tons of research I’m glad we chose it.

Nothing but praise for Valley Sod. They were a great help while we researched, during the planning, during the planting, and now that it’s growing. We did the plugs (720), planted them all ourselves , and got the rebate from SNWA! Our new lawn is amazing, and only took a 4weeks to look good, and at 8weeks it’s fully covered! It’s lovely, cool, and easy to maintain! Bang for your buck, you can’t beat it

Our Kurapia was planted 4/10/25 and we love it! It is easy to take care, has a light fragrance, and is so pretty. The team at Valley Sod have been very helpful and have answered any questions that we have had. Best of all, our dog Shadow approves.

We wanted the look and feel of grass but knew that wasn’t possible here. We found a great pet friendly replacement—kurapia ground cover from Valley Sod Farm. Takes very little water and cutting. We also got great customer service from Jared who was always went above and beyond to help us.
